ETEX has awarded the first of its 7 sites to Kuga Electrical. Through diligent site visits ensuring electrical compliance are met and site specific constraints, Kuga Electrical has developed a solution based solar system that will cover 34% of the entire site energy needs and contribute to Etex’s sustainability targets. Kuga installs a 1.439MW solar PV system by delivering 1,734GWh of energy per year.

KUGA installed 1.022MW of solar capacity at the Americold facility, representing the client’s largest installation in Australia. They overcame challenges with heavy insulating panels and collaborated with structural engineers to ensure structural integrity. The unique panel layout constraints and updated wind standards in Queensland were successfully managed.

KUGA Electrical was selected as the successful EPC partner for a 1.2MW solar installation in May 2022. In addition to reputation and quality, the key selection factor was turnaround time. The client needed a supplier with the capability to install by the end of the financial year. The turnaround from the initial site inspection through to practical completion was 10 weeks.

Heritage care is a leading, privately-owned aged care facility network. To reduce overheads across their portfolio, they engaged KUGA Electrical to install solar power on six of their sites across Victoria and New South Wales. Ultimately, 845kW of solar power was installed across the six facilities. The panels selected were the smaller 60-cell 370W Hanwa Q Cell PV modules.

Charter Hall is well known Australian based property investment management company. Kuga Australia won this Charter Hall Holdings Pty Ltd – QLS Logistics project for building 500kW Solar PV System in Blacktown, NSW through Hansen Yunken (Builder). Kuga successfully completed the project despite facing heavy rains and damp site conditions during the installation.

ESR is APAC’s largest real asset manager and 3rd largest listed real estate Investment Manager globally. ESR aspires to operate sustainability and is built by Hansen Yunken through the tender process. KUGA won this project by completing Solar PV for Lot 201 and 202 for 4 tenancies for 330kW. As per ESR’s design brief KUGA installed Solar PV with 25 Year Warranty Sunpower panels.

As part of the redevelopment of Concord Oval, Kuga has successfully completed 2 x 100 kW of solar PV installations at two significant recreation spaces in the Concord LGA, called Concord Oval and St Luke’s Park South, to serve council and West Tiger’s tenancy individually. Kuga won this project through ADCO Constructions, the builder of choice for the redevelopment of Concord Oval in Sydney’s Inner West.

KUGA Electrical worked with the managing agent CBRE to install 200kW of solar on the carpark roof of the DFO. This install involved connecting two 99kW systems into different sub-boards, each with a seperate connection to the grid. This allowed the KUGA certificate processing team to make two seperate STC claims, reducing the investment for the client significantly.
