The Brief

In a recent project with Regal Rexnord, Kuga Electrical, successfully installed a system financed through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The attractiveness of a PPA lies in its simplicity: businesses like Regal can sign an electricity rate lower than the market rate, tailored to their specific needs. In Regal’s case, where the building has a seven-year lease agreement, the PPA is strategically tailored. By the time the lease renews, Regal will own the solar system outright, aligning with their long-term objectives.

The Solution

A total solar power capacity of 230 kilowatts was successfully installed in the facility, achieved through the deployment of an array consisting of 512 Trina 450-watt solar panels, thereby contributing significantly to the facility’s renewable energy generation capabilities.
