The Brief

Barwon Prison required an innovative approach to address its energy needs while maintaining its commitment to sustainability. Designing a Solar PV car park system for Barwon Prison’s Visitor’s Carpark required addressing space and electrical constraints while meeting Australian Standards.

The Solution

Kuga installed a 773kW Solar Carport system capable of producing 1.101 GWh of clean energy annually. The carport is built with high-quality SunPower Bifacial Panels, backed by a 25-year product warranty, ensuring long-term reliability and performance. This solution not only benefits the environment but also supports the prison in reducing its long-term operational costs.
