The Brief

Easter Ranges is a multi-year level school located in Melbourne East. Registered with “Solar Schools,” the initiative provided monitoring and funding support. Live production data is utilized to educate students on renewable practices and the benefits of solar energy.

The Solution

The school was able to replace 1/3 of their total energy requirements by installing a 222x EGing panels on the main roof. The Solar Edge Micro-Optimiser Inverter Technology played a crucial role in enhancing safety. By isolating the DC portion of solar power without requiring access to the roof, the school mitigated potential safety hazards, ensuring a secure environment for students and staff.

The 28.99MWh annual solar generation resulted in a substantial environmental impact, with 29.14 tonnes of carbon dioxide savings, aligning with the school’s commitment to eco-friendly practices.
