Case Study
1.27MW Solar Installation, Pakenham VIC
The Brief
KUGA has executed a remarkable 1.27MW solar installation for G&K O’Connor. A distinguishing aspect of this endeavour is its effective utilization of the Victorian VEEC program, resulting in substantial cost savings. KUGA has demonstrated their expertise by not only completing the project within a challenging timeframe but also aligning seamlessly with time-sensitive rebates and securing 10,500 Victorian energy efficiency certificates (VEECs). As a result, project completion was achieved in approximately 13 weeks, showcasing KUGA’s remarkable efficiency in commercial solar installations.
The Solution
KUGA ingeniously designed the solar system to span across four distinct roofs. Overcoming cabling challenges within the facility, KUGA’s engineering prowess led to the creation of a bespoke inverter station on the rooftop, strategically positioned directly above the main switchboard. This system is composed of 2,812 solar panels that can produce 1.354GWh of clean energy annually. This project shows KUGA’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions and showcases their ability to navigate complex challenges while maximising the benefits for their clients.
